REGIMEN FUNDAMENTALS DESCRIPTION: Using DermActive's 4 Phase Skin Care Kit

Before starting a treatment, it is very important for the skin to be deep cleaned. A cleansed skin allows the better absorbency of the product, guaranting a greater effectiveness of the treatment. A common facial cleansing product, like a cleansing milk, while it is useful for eliminating make-up powder on the skin, it is not sufficient for the removal of dead cells and impurities. To achieve desired results, use the Keratolic Lotion, a mild exfoliating cleansing products; which acts energetically on the epidermis.

KERATOLITIC LOTION has the same effect as a mild peeling because it contains specific active ingredients which have a citric and salicylic action and a solvent-emollient character. These promote the exfoliation of dead cells and effectuating a deep cleansing. Due to its liquid character KERATOLITIC LOTION does not cause abrasion and damage to the skin. The use of the lotion before starting a cosmetic treatment permits the skin to regain its natural physiological condition, removing impurities and guaranting a greater effectiveness of the treatment by facilitating the absorbency of products.

Skin aging and wrinkles are strongly linked to improper hydration and low nourishment of the skin. It is a natural process which becomes greater and more visible as time goes by. It is therefore essential to take preventive action in order to slow down and delay the effects of this degenerative process.

PRE-WRINKLE SERUM is a concentrated serum of active ingredients which elastify, strengthen, stimulate and feed the skin, limiting the effects aging. This product is additionally indicated for restorative and intensive treatment, for damaged or loose facial skin.

Age, but also atmospheric conditions can damage the health of the skin. Wind, cold, or intense heat can dehydrate the skin and create favourable conditions for the premature aging of the skin. It is necessary to intervene and nourish the skin; to restore its softness and brilliance.

EMOLLIENT MASK is particularly suitable for sensitive, dry and reddened skin. Thanks to its skin-friendly oils, vitamins and vegetable extracts, it has an emollient and brightening effect. A treatment with this product is recommended to restore dry and reddened skin. To have particularly soft and brilliant skin for a special occasion, use the EMOLLIENT MASK.

ACTIVE MOISTURISING CREAM

A cosmetic treatment should also have a skin moisturising action. Hydration is a very important factor for the beauty of skin. A moisturised skin is bright, soft, fresh and elastic. A good hydration of the skin contributes to the slowing-down of the effects of aging. ACTIVE MOISTURISING CREAM has a deep moisturising effect. It hydrates the epidermis and the stratum corneum. Its principal active moisturising ingredients (ialuronic acid and natural moisturising elements, vegetal extracts, tonifying essences and precious dermophile oils) ensure a complete hydration of the skin. The product is therefore effective as a day cream as well as night cream and permits a personalized dosage based on the need for hydration and not according to the time of day. It is a unique product, complete and concentrated, suitable for every type of skin and also ideal in the case of hot or cold climates.

TREATMENT’S PURPOSE:

Facial “multi-active” treatment:
a) Provides a hyper-nourishment of skin deep layers;
b) Reduces superficial and deep wrinkles;
c) Moisturises the skin;
d) Protects against free radicals and atmospheric agents action
e) Improves cell oxygenation, providing skin health and brightening.

TREATMENT’S PECULIARITIES

The treatment works in four phases:

Cleansing Phase: dead cells, sebum excess are removed in order to eliminate obstacles for the penetration into the skin of active ingredients contained in the products used during the main treatment phase; Product = KERATOLITIC LOTION.
Nourishing Anti-aging Phase: we provide a highly stimulating and nourishing product; Product = PRE-WRINKLE SERUM, in a quantity which correspond to the use of 10 usual pumps of anti-aging serum. The action in this phase is concentrated on deep wrinkles and on cell oxygenation.
Lock-in Mask Effect Phase: All active ingredients contained in Pre-Wrinkle Serum can easily penetrate into the skin, reach the skin deep layers and provide a specific nourishing and rejuvenating action. Product = EMOLLIENT MASK.
Hydration Phase: The last phase consists in providing the necessary hydration to the skin in order to minimise superficial wrinkles and protect against free-radicals and atmospheric agents effects. Product = ACTIVE MOISTURISING CREAM.

RECOMMENDED FREQUENCY = 1 treatment per week.

DAILY RECOMMENDED REGIMEN

It is strongly suggested to apply once a day a dose of PRE-WRINKLE SERUM and ACTIVE MOISTURISING CREAM. These products represent the kind of nourishment that it’s necessary for the daily feeding the skin and for maintaining it in optimal physiological conditions. As we are used to feed our body and eat food at least once a day, so we should do with our skin.

The application is recommended in the morning for ACTIVE MOISTURISING CREAM and at evening for PRE-WRINKLE SERUM. Both products can also be mixed together and applied at the same time. The right quantity of product should be spread on face and neck skin, except on eyes and mouth, and massaged until absorption.

The daily doses of PRE-WRINKLE SERUM and ACTIVE MOISTURISING CREAM produce the following effects:

1) an anti-ageing and deep nourishing action, thanks to the specific effect of PRE- WRINKLE SERUM.

5) a strong hydrating and protective action, due to the use of ACTIVE MOISTURISING CREAM.

RECOMMENDED FREQUENCY

A daily application with Active Moisturising Cream and a dose of Pre-wrinkle Serum. It is suggested the use of ACTIVE MOISTURISING CREAM in the morning, due to its peculiar protective and hydrating effect and the use of PRE-WRINKLE SERUM at evening for a reactivating and deep nourishing effect.

TREATMENT AND APPLICATION’S PRODUCTS

KERATOLITIC LOTION:

Keratolitic Lotion is a mild fluid for the deep cleansing of the skin, suitable for face and body. Thanks to its formula, it removes dead cells, excess of sebum and skin impurities. Its liquid status makes the product easy to apply and fast to remove. Particularly suitable for skin with impurities, or for providing a deep cleansing of the skin before a beauty treatment.

A weekly application is recommended for keeping the skin in optimal physiological conditions.

The product has the following effects:

a) Smoothing: tanks to the effect of Salicylic Acid which softens keratin and allows an easy removing of dead cells and excess of sebum.

b) Purifying: tanks to the effect of lavandin oil which has a reactivating effect on skin cells.

c) Astringent (it closes pores): tanks to the effect of lemon oil which encourages pores closure at the end of the cleansing action.

HOW TO USE:
Apply a small quantity of Keratolitic Lotion to the skin by using a cotton wool pad, then rinse well off passing a wet sponge at least for three times. Do not apply on eyes nor mouth.

PRE-WRINKLE SERUM:

Face care Serum rich of natural active principles, which have a reactivating, and firming effect. Suitable for all skin, it is recommended as an intensive application for deep wrinkles and for all aesthetic problems deriving from skin ageing process.

The product has the following effects:

Nourishing: soy proteins (concentration percentage: 12%) and hops extract
Restoring the right quantity of nourishment into the skin
Reactivating: ginseng extract (concentration percentage: 12%) reactivates skin
Oxygenating: coneflower extract and ornithine protein
Tightening: vegetal collagen
Moisturising: arginine, ialuronic acid
Toning: horsetail extract

HOW TO USE:
Apply once a day to face and neck fresh washed skin a dose of Pre-wrinkle Serum (mixed with a light quantity of Active Moisturising Cream) and massage until absorption. Do not apply on eyes nor mouth. As a weekly home treatment, follow indications for the specific treatment.

EMOLLIENT MASK

It is a professional creamy and ready-to use mask. It has an emollient and whitening effect, which make it particularly suitable in the case of sensitive and dry or poor nourished skin.

It contains E vitamin, camomile and rose essence oils, skin friendly oils and natural extracts (cucumber, hypericum, mallow).

The product has the following effects:
a) whitening and softening: kaolin
b) refreshing: cucumber extract
c) free radicals protective: E vitamin
d) lenitive: mallow and hypericum extract e) nourishing: hops and honey extract

HOW TO USE:
Once a week apply a small quantity of Emollient Mask to face and neck skin; leave working for 20 minutes then remove with a wet sponge. Do not apply on eyes nor mouth.

ACTIVE MOISTURISING CREAM:

It is a face cream which has a high moisturising effect, suitable for rough and scaly skin or for using during holiday at the seaside or mountain. Rich of moisturising and toning ingredients, it provides tone and firmness. The use is recommended in combination with Dermactive Pre-wrinkle Serum for enriching the application with a specific anti-ageing action.

The product has the following effects:
a) moisturising: ialuronic acid, arginine
b) toning: basil, sage, clary, thyme, rosemary essence oils
c) nourishing: sweet almond oil, soy proteins, vegetal collagen, hops extract d) reactivating: ginseng extract
e) lenitive: mallow extract, matricaria essence oil
f) freeradicalsprotective:allantoine
g) refreshing: eucalyptus, peppermint essence oils
h) purifying: lavandin and coriander oil

HOW TO USE:
Apply a small quantity of Active Moisturising Cream to face and neck fresh-washed skin and massage gently until absorption. Do not apply on eyes nor mouth.

No animal derivates are contained in Dermactive’s products. Not tested on animals.

ANTI-AGING AND REJUVENATING TREATMENT

ONCE A WEEK TREATMENT:

1) Using a cotton wool pad apply KERATOLITIC LOTION (3 ml) to face and neck except on eyes and mouth, and rub gently; leave working for 2 minutes then rinse well off (three times with water) and dry the skin.

2) Apply 10 doses of PREWRINKLE SERUM (2 ml) to face and neck except on eyes and mouth and massage lightly until absorption. (about 5 minutes)

3) Apply a small quantity of EMOLLIENT MASK (5 ml) to face and neck except on eyes and mouth and leave working for 20 minutes. Remove the mask with a damp sponge and dry the skin.

4) Apply a small quantity of ACTIVE MOISTURISING CREAM (1 ml) to face and neck except on eyes and mouth and massage until the product is absorbed.

DAILY APPLICATION:

In the morning apply a light quantity of ACTIVE MOISTURING CREAM to face and neck skin except for eyes and mouth. Massage until absorption. In the evening spread a dose of PREWRINKLE SERUM on face and neck skin except for eyes and mouth. Massage until absorption. Both products can be mixed together and applied at the same time.
